At GODREJ MATERIAL HAHNDLING, we have been traditionally offering Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), which is a labour contract for preventive maintenance and a fairly standardized offering. For the last decade, we have been offering Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC), comprising labour and parts. The current CMC offering has a lot of customization with various combinations for different customers.
With increased focus on contracts penetration, there is a need to standardize the CMC offers. In this direction, we have revamped AMC and CMC portfolios and rechristened them as “Periodic Maintenance Plan”, viz. PMP with various plans as under:

- The Bronze Plan is the erstwhile AMC, which is an Annual Labour Contract for preventive maintenance. Parts under this will be on chargeable basis and breakdown calls will be included, provided the customer is buying all parts from Godrej.
- The Silver Plan is to be offered by the Sales Team at the time of sale of equipment or the Service Engineer at the time of commissioning, for the first year of operation at customer’s site. The commissioning and 3 complimentary calls are already covered under warranty and if the customer opts for the Silver Plan, the 4th, 5th and 6th calls, which are paid calls in the second half of the warranty period, including the consumable parts needed for preventive maintenance for the full year, but “excluding oils” will be covered. Under this plan, all purchases made by the customer, apart from consumable parts (already covered), will be offered at 5% discount. This plan can be bought by a customer either during release of equipment P.O. or latest during commissioning and is not available if order is placed beyond one month of date of commissioning.
- The Gold Plan is similar to the Silver Plan, apart from the fact that this applies to those equipment for which contract is obtained after one month of commissioning date. This will include complete technical assistance of preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance, as well as consumable parts for preventive maintenance. Any additional sub-assemblies or parts or sub-assemblies procured by the customer will be available at 5% discount.
- The Platinum Plan will include spare parts for breakdown maintenance, apart from technical assistance for preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance as well as consumable parts, as covered under Gold Plan. Any additional sub-assemblies or parts or accessories bought by the customer covered under this plan, will be eligible for 10% discount.
- The Titanium Plan will include Engine overhauling, Transmission overhauling, Motor repairs/replacement and Controller repairs/replacement, apart from technical assistance for preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance and parts for preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance, as covered in the Platinum Plan. Any other sub-assemblies, parts or accessories bought by the customer covered under this plan will be eligible for 15% discount.
